What counts as a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. Local storage objects, session storage entries, software development kits inside embedded players, and invisible pixels performing similar identification are treated with the same transparency standard even if the technology name differs.
Who places them
First-party tags are set by chelvarezla.ddd. Third-party tags load from analytics suites or advertising partners only after you opt in through our banner. Each vendor maintains its own retention chart; we summarise practical horizons below.
Strictly necessary stack
These include consent storage keys, CSRF mitigations, session continuity tokens for authenticated wholesale portals, bot-management challenges, and failover preferences. They do not require consent under Norwegian implementation of the ePrivacy Directive for information society services. Lifetimes range from session length to twelve months for resilience cookies.
Analytics layer
If you enable analytics, we collect pseudonymous identifiers, coarse geography, landing pages, scroll depth proxies, and error codes. IP addresses may be truncated before storage. Retention for event tables generally caps at thirteen rolling months. You may withdraw analytics consent through the banner or by clearing site data and revisiting.
Marketing layer
With consent, advertising cookies help cap impression frequency, attribute conversions, and assemble anonymised lookalike cohorts. Typical persistence spans thirty to ninety days depending on the partner. You can revoke consent at any moment; partners must honour withdrawal on subsequent requests they receive from us.
Browser and banner controls
Use the cookie module pinned to this site for granular switches. Browser settings let you delete existing files globally. Industry opt-out pages (such as those maintained by European advertising associations) provide additional layers. Contact talk@chelvarezla.world if you need a human-readable export of your consent history.
Postal address for formal notices: Grønlandsleiret 16, 0190 Oslo, Norway.
Order of operations
On your first visit, only necessary cookies boot until you interact. Accepting all loads analytics and marketing tags asynchronously so primary content continues rendering. Rejecting optional categories leaves consent logs updated and blocks deferred scripts. Saving customised mixes writes JSON to local storage for quick replay.
Policy evolution
When we onboard a new measurement partner or materially extend retention, we revise this document, bump the dynamic stamp below the hero, and—where required—prompt you to confirm consent again.
